what do u all here sugest as a good leg workout besides running biking and swimming using only your legs ????
i already run 1-2 miles a day depending on how tiered or busy i am + bike swim in the summer |

I would incorporate some strength training as well. Squats, leg press, lunges, and dead lifts are all examples that are great for your legs.

There are tons of Plyometric exercises you can do for legs if you weren't looking to lift. I believe there is a list of them on EXRX.com.

yea i know squats and stuff i already do them when i am at the gym i am looking for more i can do at home

Running, biking, swimming, etc. (endurance sports) are no good for leg strength or hypertrophy unless done against considerable resistance. (Maximal sprinting, hills, etc.) You're legs will not get any more muscular performing these activities at aerobic levels.
For a list of weight-training exercises check out: http://www.exrx.net (Many of them can be adapted to "at home" conditions.) Also, search the forum as legs are a frequent topic of discussion. |
