hey i basically have the kip up but i land on my feet and fall back a little on my hands,

Kick harder or push off harder. It's all technique. Just remember that you need to kick first, and push off SECOND. One at a time, not at the same time. Makes it much easier. Just practice it for like an hour or less and you'll have it IF you apply that technique.
