'cause I've had this swollen knee for about a month, and it's getting kind of painful to roll out of a bail when I'm tricking. Do anti-inflammatories help heal it or reduce the swelling at all?

Seen a doctor? Other than that, just rest, apply something like tiger balm to help with the pain, and try not tricking for a while (or putting any type of strain on it), even if it is difficult to pause if you aren't severly injured.

Go to a doctor and ice it. The doctor will probably give you anti-inflammatories.

That sounds like fun! I could take all my lovely knee fluid home in a jar, and then people would bathe in the fluid and they will be cured!

Use common sense. Keep it high for as long as you can (on your computer desk etc.), ice it, see a doctor.

you can get it drained, but doctors really hate to do that. they'll tell you to ice it, take anti-inflammatories, elevate it, and keep it wrapped (like with an ace wrap) for compression. i've been through it with my knees and elbow, it's the same every time. definitely see a doctor too tho.
when doctors drain it, they are putting a needle in there, and risking introducing infection. that's what happened to me one time (i had my elbow drained twice). then i had to get surgery on it because the infection got so bad. compression and elevation is best, along with anti-inflammatories and ice. edit: pic of my elbow before surgery ![]() |

^^lol... I had water on the knee. It took about 2 months to completely go away. I suggest you take atleast 1 week off tricking, preferably 2, especially if you tend to bail
. Oh, and do w/e ats- said. |
